Happy Mother's Day. You kept us alive when we weren't sure it was worth it. You encouraged us when we thought we didn't deserve it. You made us shiny and then praised us for shining. You stayed close while giving us space. You guided us while letting us make our own decisions. You gave us roots, then wings. You held your breath and held back your tears (or tried to, anway) when we actually spread those wings. You always welcome us back home, you always welcome us back into your arms. We know we are never out of your heart. We know we are your favorite. If we are the only one we know we would be your favorite, even if there were twenty of us. You are everything, you mothers of the world. You are all-everything. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

9 days ago a 3 year English girl was taken from her bed whilst asleep on holiday in Portugal. Her name is Madeleine McCann and today is her 4th birthday.
Since you never know who will read, where they will be, or who they will see, I think it's a good idea to put this on here. Feel free to put this on your blog, webpage, forums, etc. Please do.
