"Petite Anglaise" available today in the U.S.

Some of us have been reading Catherine's blog for years. We've been expecting this book and waiting for the day it would be available here in the United States. Today's the day! Here's a chance to win the book, which is certain to be a good read. Her blog, even when you would like to jump in and offer girlfriendy (or even motherly) advice, keeps you coming back for more. I told you about her quite a while ago. Did you go read? If you would like to win a copy of her book, leave a comment. Please make sure I have a way to contact you if you win, either on your blog, or via email.

Your comment can be about her blog, this blog, your blog, your puppy, your flower garden, your new handbag - whatever, just try to make it interesting for us. Anyone may leave a comment at any time, but the book will only be shipped to a U.S. address. Deadline for entries is June 30th at noon EST. Good luck!

  1. I'd love to win the book. Thanks for offering it.

My "puppy" is now a big 2 year old. He is a black and tan Afghan hound and he is quite precious. Because I live in Arizona and it's hot, hot now (112 today), we need to walk our dogs very early in the morning if we want to get them out at all.

However, I find my pup, Mateo, will lie out in the hot sun at the hottest part of the day and sun bathe nearly every day for a while. I think it warms his bones and he feels nice and warm and snuggly when he comes back through the dog door. We also have a 6 year old Afghan Hound, Jupiter. He'll lie on the hot patio for a while each day too! They bring such joy to our lives, but are quite grooming intensive.

Your puppy is quite adorable too!

I Love to read so this book would be great to add to my library. I am really enjoying reading right now because the kids are out of school and need no help with their homework. At this time the oldest is at church camp and the youngest is on the computer. His schedule this summer is stay up all night on the computer with friends and sleep all day. Yeah, at least I know where he is during the day while I am at work and him and his sister are not fighting. Everyone have a great Wednesday

  8. I would love to win Catherine book. Thank you for offering this giveaway. The photos on your site are a delight and I loved reading about your trip win. Your puppy is so cute! We do not have any pets because we like to travel and would hate to leave them home when we fly overseas. Instead we put out seed for the quail and then enjoy watching the cottontail rabbits eat it as well.
    Keep on blogging, and winning.
