We have an appointment to choose our floors tomorrow afternoon. Things are moving right along! Our house is called the Ravenna.
The floor plans for the house are here:
First Floor |
Second Floor |
Basement |
I talked to my flooring girl yesterday and she said the upstairs is always done in carpet. She doesn't even have the option for hardwood on the stairs or the second floor. It looks like we will be asking for another "non-standard request." I think Gary is going to start calling us the non-standard request people.
Meanwhile, I am still scouring the internet trying to find a blogger who actually took the Rushmore cabinets I want and see what they think about them.

Awesome that you are getting the bonus/5th bedroom! I am so in love with the Rushmore Maple Glaze Butterscotch ( sucha mouthful) cabinets as well! I think there soo pretty and really brighten the kitchen up without having to go all white, which doesn't even compare. Just have to justify to myself the increase in price
ReplyDeleteFunny that in your model home pics your master shower is a swinging door, ours is a slider.. any preference? Also contemplating the jetted tub, figuring if I'm gonna have that huge thing, why not love it.
Congrats!!
Did you lose your back windows to your Master Suite when you purchased the 1st floor bedroom?
DeleteOur shower is a swinging door, which I prefer. Just a personal preference. But with the seat on one side and the water source at the other having a swinging door in the middle makes more sense than an opening on one side.
ReplyDeleteI am going to see those cabinets every day and they are going to make me happy every day.
The jetted tub has been a dream of mine forever. I have always loved them. That huge tub without them is ridiculous to me.
Congrats...sounds awesome...your comment about the stairs not having an option for hardwood sounds strange...I thought all the models have the option to upgrade the stairs...it won't be part of your flooring selection though...it was on the standard options list...I have to admit I don't think I have seen anyone not carpet the second floor.
ReplyDeleteI was told that we lost our back windows to our Master Suite when we purchased the 1st floor bedroom. Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous?!
