Lights, Plumbing, Stone!

Okay, there was a lot of work done since Friday. It was really something to get to the house today and see the progress. The biggest deal is the exterior:

Isn't she beautiful!?

I love-love-love (yes, triple-love!) the oil rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures. I'm so thrilled with everything.

  1. Gorgeous! I LOVE that you can get full stone on the exterior - how beautiful! I also love the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures as well as your tile and cabinets in the master bath.

  3. I was not a fan of the bonus room on the Ravenna in our community because it's all brick front. But your stone/siding front is fantastic. My wife would have pushed for it had she the choice!

  4. I love those fixtures too! Which option are those? Is it the faucet fixtures upgrade package? if so, is it one price for all the bathrooms and oil rubbed fixtures around the shower and the wall fixtures too? thanks!

  5. One price for all the plumbing in oil rubbed bronze, including the towel bars, toilet paper holders, and shower enclosure. The one thing which was not oil rubbed bronze was the shower rods, and I am going to ask for them to be changed.

    - there is no oil rubbed bronze (Or antique bronze, sometimes) option for the kitchen.

Another option is the oil rubbed bronze hardware for the doors, door stops, etc. That cost for us was only $150. The plumbing option was a lot more.

If you're going oil rubbed/antique bronze you want to remember the cabinet and lighting options, which I think cost the same as the other options.

  7. You are very welcome! My favorite thing about reading all these Ryan Homes blogs is getting knowledge and ideas from people who went before me. I'm glad you were able to get what will make you happy.

I can't wait to see the granite and hardwoods... those are my last two big items.
