We are heading down the home stretch! Of course we stopped by the house
today to see what's new.
For Brooke, here is a picture of our stairs.
Please excuse the dust. They were sanding them again.

We also had appliances in the house:
Ryan Homes Ravenna Cabinets: Timberlake Maple Butterscotch Glaze Hardware: Oil Rubbed Bronze/Antique Bronze Counters: Black Pearl/Brazil Black Floor: Sugar Creek Maple: Cinnamon |
Then we went upstairs and saw the hardware for the master bathtub being moved to a better location:

I forgot to take a picture of the outside of the house with the giant dumpster gone.
We are going Monday to do our closing and meeting the PM Wednesday morning for final walk through.
When I finally get the keys to the house in my own little hand I am probably going to start crying.
Glad to see that the fixed the tub. Those stairs are gorgeous! I've enjoyed watching your progress. Can't wait to see pictures of your walk through and move. Hope all goes smoothly!
ReplyDeleteLovely!!! And thank you so much for the photo of the stairs...probably going to use this for an example to show our SR, if you don't mind
ReplyDeletePS - what stain did you choose?
ReplyDeleteTammi,
ReplyDeleteit's awesome that we did this together and watched and commented on each other's progress. I'm very happy for you.
Congrats.
Rachel: I love the new doors you are going to get! (I'm maybe a teensy bit just a lot jealous of them)
ReplyDeleteSgt. Rich: It has been fun. Although it feels like they built yours fast and mine took forever. Does it feel the same way in reverse to you? :)
Brooke: Our floor is the Maple Creek Cinnamon color and I do not know the stain color. If you email me ( tammi.velez@gmail.com ) I will try to get you some information.
Tammi - I am loving the doors. When I saw the paper, I was a little afraid to hope that we would get them. I take it as a consolation prize for how long we've had to wait to begin building. We went through our first Ryan model last June. We're going to break ground this month. How's that for patience?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm glad they fixed your tub and everything looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIs that where you wanted your faucet? I ask this because you have small kids and if they ever lean over the tub to turn on the water they could fall into a tub of water.
ReplyDeleteI also ask because if there's is a leak or something like that how will you access the faucets? And how do they plan to fix the holes they drilled the first time?
Make sure they fix this to your 100 % satisfaction. Just stop and think 1 year down the road. I know this because there was a scratch in my tub the first time I built and they promised to fix it after closing. They did and it wasn't satisfactory with me but the answer I got back is "that's standard practice for something like this". Had I not agreed to close until it was fixed there would have been a new tun in my bathroom for which I think your entitled to.
I love the look don't get me wrong but I really think you should ask them to replace the tub.
Hi
ReplyDeleteI am in contract for a Raveena and the morning room has been a struggle for me. I see you did not get one either. Can you post a pic of the kitchen from the family room? I want to see if the home still feels open without it. By the way, I really like the options you have selected.
Thanks!
We always knew we did not want the morning room. I will take a picture for you tomorrow, because I don't seem to have one coming from the other end of the space.
ReplyDeleteWe are very happy with the options as we selected them. Everything we chose has worked out beautifully! Thanks.
Can you tell me how much did you have to pay for those white cabinets?
ReplyDeleteThe cabinets we have were a $3690 upgrade. There was an additional $600 upgrade for the 42" cabinets, as well.
ReplyDeletePlease realize these are not the white cabinets offered by Ryan. Those are a different cabinet of a different materials and cost much less.
These are the maple butterscotch glaze cabinets.
